Before we sold a single grinder, we stood behind the block. Years on the saw, the grinder, and the stuffer taught us exactly which machines earn their floor space, and which ones cost you time every shift they run.

That experience is our filter. Every piece of equipment in our catalogue has to pass one test: would we buy it for our own shop and run it every day? If the answer isn't an easy yes, we don't carry it. When you call us with a question, you're not talking to a salesperson reading a spec sheet. You're talking to a butcher who has run the machine.

Value means more output per hour

A price tag tells you almost nothing. Output tells you everything. We select and price our equipment on one measure: how much production it delivers per hour for what it costs.

A cheap grinder that jams twice a shift isn't cheap. A saw that cuts clean all day at a fair price pays for itself and keeps paying. We do that math before anything reaches our shelf, so what you're paying for is throughput, not a brand name.

"Support local" is easy to put on a sign. We back it with how we do business. We're Edmonton-owned, and our customers are the farmers, hunters, and butcher shops that keep Alberta fed.

When a local shop runs faster, everyone down the line benefits, the farmer moves more product, the shop serves more customers, and the money stays in the community we live and work in. We support local farmers and butchers because this is our community too. That's not a slogan. That's the reason the shop exists.
